Drawing on a heritage from Ibis, Fat City Cycles, and the American SteepleJack, the Brooklyn Machine Works Park Bike brings the small rear wheel concept into the next century. We've lowered the top tube, shortened the rear even more, and made the frame compatible with front suspension.

The frame is 100% 4130 chrome-moly and shares the same general construction techniques used in our BMX frames. It's really a big BMX bike more than a mountain bike. Also, these frames have a BMX size bottom bracket shell so that cranks with a large diameter spindle and large bearings can be used.

A note on the fork: This frame's geometry (70 degree head tube) is set for use with an 18 1/2" long fork (the length of most four inch travel forks). This neutral headtube angle is a good starting point for tuning to your personal style. If you're not used to having so much travel, use a shorter fork to get quicker steering. If you want more travel, you can run a longer fork and use a 24" front wheel with a disc brake.

The park bike frame sells for $650 USD. Call or e-mail to order.
