From a functonal standpoint, the frame has built in chain tensioners for accurate and repeatable wheel positioning and disc alignment. Plus, the brake mount, as well as the derailleur hanger move with the wheel when chainstay length is altered.

The floating brake mount is adjustable to provide partial float, full float, or to pin the rear end down during heavy braking at high speeds (anti stink-bug). There are fender mounts in the crotch for use with a cut down THE fender to keep mud off the shock. There is a built in fork stop behind the head tube to keep the frame from killing your fork when you do a ghost rider.

The bikes in the pictures are set up for Total Motocross, with 24" Gazzaloddi 3" tires front and rear, beefy rims, and Marzocchi Monster T forks. Some of the bikes feature the BMW custom riser bars (4130 steel, .120" wall thickness, weighing close to 3 lbs. alone). The bikes are set up with the burliest parts for urban play, stair-gaps, huge drops and harsh mountain abuse. This results in a bike weight of around 53 pounds. However, set up as some Brooklyn riders in England have rigged it, with regular wheels and tires, any other DH fork, and normal bars and seatpost, the complete bike weighs in in the low to mid 40 lbs. This TMX "lite" is reported to be a wickedly fast freeride beast with the independent drive chain system providing insane control.

The complete tmx frame kit (see photos: 1, 2), which includes the frame, rear shock, bb, independent drive system, rear hub, and custom profile cranks, sells for $3300 USD. Call to order.
